Continuing from last month, I’ll reflect on what I did.
What I Did in March#
Participated in Droidcon Boston as a Speaker#
This was the biggest event for me in March. I was nervous because it was my first time speaking abroad and my first time attending Droidcon Boston, but all the speakers, participants, and volunteers at the conference were kind. The conference itself had a more intimate, homey feel rather than being a large-scale event, which was wonderful. I also got to talk with local engineers about their work and life, which looking back was really great.
Regarding the actual presentation, of course when I reflect on it, I think “I wish I had done this or that differently,” but if I started listing all the things I could have done better, it would be endless. That said, I’m happy looking back on the fact that I was able to present more calmly than at DroidKaigi and that the audience asked me good questions. Still, I definitely want to become a better presenter, so I intend to continue to improve by listening to and watching skilled presenters and getting their feedback.

Techbook Festival#
Ugh… I’m falling behind, but… CU Android Club, first Techbook Festival, let’s do our best! Let’s enjoy it! (Ohhh!) (Lol)
Other#
- Did Yuru Camp
I went “hands-free camping” where you don’t bring anything—to Rohas Garden Campground in Kamikawa, Saitama. I went with 3 colleagues from work, so 4 guys total, nice and relaxed. We even properly ate curry noodles (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

- Watched the film “Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms”
It had a grand story and seemed pretty long. I felt it was realistic in many ways. It was good. (Rough review)
Summary#
Besides that, March had various new challenges at work and lots of changes.
As an engineer, I’m always thinking I need to improve my technical skills, but it made me realize again that I need to increase my input. I’ll keep improving in April.
That’s all! Thanks for March!
